We are looking forward to having Dr. Rick Goertzen back in the GBC pulpit on April 12-14. Pastor Rick will spend 5 sessions working through a portion of the Sermon on the Mount - Treasure & Trust: Learning to Lean on Your Father from Matthew 6:19-34.
We'll gather Friday evening, Saturday evening, and Sunday morning. There is no cost for the conference, but please register so that we know how many to expect.
Twenty-nine years ago Dr. Rick Goertzen was called as the first senior pastor of Grace Bible Church. Pastor Rick and his wife, Kris, faithfully served and ministered at GBC for 20 years until he was called to a new pastorate at Shades Mountain Community Church in Birmingham, AL.
Pastor Rick earned his degree in theology frm Southeastern Bible College and his master's degree in Divinity and doctorate in ministry from The Master's Seminary. He enjoyed 39 years of marriage to Kris before the Lord sent His Blessed Chariot in the form of ALS to take her Home in April 2023. They have 3 married children and 7 grandsons, the Grand Dudes.
