When we consider what the Word of God requires of Christian husbands and wives, we realize that a godly, Christ-exalting marriage is not a sprint -- it's a marathon, consisting of the daily commitment to love one's spouse selflessly and sacrificially. But even the best of Christian marriages can hit rough patches along the way. How are we to navigate and overcome the variety of challenges that can often pose a threat to our marriages? By turning to God's precious Word!
We hope you can join us on Saturday, October 18th for the return of our annual GBC Marriage Conference. Our speaker for this year's conference is Dr. John Street, the Distinguished Chair and Research Fellow for Biblical Counseling at The Master's Seminary. The theme for this year's conference is "Marriage for the Long Run." The goal of this particular conference is to equip those who attend with a confidence in the grace of God, which enables us to draw near to our Lord through His Word, and thus helps us draw near to our spouses even in the midst of times of difficulty. In this conference, we will discover together that the goal of marriage is not simply longevity, but faithfulness rooted in godly living.
The early bird cost is $55/couple and $30 for individuals before September 30. The price goes up to $70/couple and $45/individual on October 1. Registration closes on October 10. The price includes breakfast pastries, lunch and a conference packet.
