The Men of Grace Ministry is dedicated to serving incarcerated men in the Hutchinson Correctional Facilities. The Mission of MGM is to proclaim and teach the Holy Word of God to incarcerated men and bring them to salvation in Jesus Christ, glorifying God and equipping them to serve others (Tit 2:11; 2 Tim 3:15). One of the goals of the MGM is to give inmates something to look forward to, some hope for the future and that hope is knowing Jesus as their Lord and Savior and spending eternity in heaven.
Through the ministry of the Word, our aim is to glorify God by entrusting to faithful men who will be able to teach others also (2 Tim 2:2), and to equip the saints for the work of ministry for building up the body of Christ (Eph 4:12).
Matthew 25:36,40 says: “I was in prison and you visited me” – and when the disciples questioned him about when did they do this He said – “I assure you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers of mine, you did for me."
Hebrews 13:3 says “Remember those who are in prison, as though in prison with them.”
One of the best ways to remember them as though we are in prison with them, is to go to them – go into the prison and to show them love, to share the gospel and to let them know there is another way to live that has eternal benefits.
MGM is a great outreach opportunity for sharing the gospel with men in prison. If you have an interest in serving as a volunteer or have questions about this ministry, please contact Lynn Crouse or Phil Gray.
